This statement explains how Freeform Strategy Pty Ltd collects and uses your personal information.
Key information
Freeform is a CX and marketing research company. This means we’re frequently having conversations in person, online or via surveys.
Our lifeblood is you, who take part in research. For that reason your privacy is critical to us, because without you our business could not operate and so we take great with your personal information.
We want to be absolutely clear: any information you provide will not be shared with anyone, or used by anyone, to sell you anything.
The only reason we need your details is to ensure we have some means of profiling you for research projects and getting in touch with you around the research.
Your details are typically destroyed once the research takes place. The only time this does not occur, is when you have given your permission for us to keep your details for future research projects.
We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. Furthermore we follow the regulations of the AMSRS who is the market research industry body. The AMSRS have even stricter standards around research participant details and the sharing of any information.
We aim to be open and transparent. You will always be required to give consent before we do anything, and we won’t keep hidden from you the information we have on hand. If you have concerns or would like to talk through privacy (or anything else for that matter), just get in touch.
Why do we collect personal information?
Personal Information is information that is identifiable to you. We collect information from people that register with us for the purpose of being market research participants.
In order to register as a participant, we require your full name, telephone number and email address. This information must be provided in order to register, and if it is not provided we cannot recruit you into research. We also collect other information voluntarily, which you choose to provide, including information such as your gender, age, address and date of birth. If you fall within a demographic sought by Freeform, we may also seek additional information from you. The more information that we have about you, means that we can more efficiently identify when a participant falls within a demographic required by Freeform.
Who do we share your information with?
We do not sell or disclose information to third parties other than as required by law or as set out in this statement. No information provided to Freeform is publicly available. Your details will only be provided, if you are successful and accept the Project in which case, all information that Freeform has collected about you (for the Project) may be provided . We will only provide Participant information relevant to and for the purpose of the particular Project. We will not disclose any information to a country outside of Australia.
Security
Freeform adopts appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices to protect personally identifiable information and security measures to protect against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of all information that we collect. You should keep in mind that no Internet transmission is ever completely secure or error-free.
